Bayern Munich v Arsenal Specials

Yesterday we posted a review of this evenings game between Bayern Munich and Arsenal, today we start with a few tips from Skybet.

Arsenal will need to record one of the best results in Champions League history to keep their hopes alive in this season’s competition.

Odds for them to qualify of 16/1 reflect the size of the task after the runaway Bundesliga leaders secured a 2-0 advantage from the opening leg at the Emirates a fortnight ago.

Toni Kroos opened the scoring that night and he is boosted to 15/2 to repeat the feat on home soil with in-form Croatian hitman Mario Mandzukic 3/1 favourite in the market.

Thomas Muller completed the Gunners' misery with a late second goal in London and Skybet offer 11/10 that he scores in a Bayern victory on the night.

The home side are odds-on for victory but Arsene Wenger’s men were 2-0 winners at the Allianz Stadium in last season’s competition, only to go out on the away goals rule.

Olivier Giroud grabbed one of Arsenal’s goals that night and is 10/1 to score the opening goal which would crank up the pressure on the home side, as they look to become the first side to retain the trophy. Mesut Ozil, who missed a penalty in the first game has been boosted to 18/1 to score first,

If you are looking for a long shot, how about Bayern to win 4-0 quoted at 16/1, Arsenal to run out 2-0 winners is 55/1 while for something totally left field, Alex Oxlade Chamberlain to score first in a 1-0 or 2-1 win for Arsenal is a hefty 155/1!
