Chelsea v Galatasaray

Chelsea take on Galatasaray tonight in the second leg of the Champions League in a game which kicks off at 19:45 and is being televised on ITV.

They are hot favourites to progress through to the last eight having earned a 1-1 draw in Istanbul a fortnight ago and will hope to take advantage of the Turkish champions' dismal record on English soil – five defeats and three draws in eight games.

In addition, the Turks have only kept one clean sheet in their last 12 games in the competition and it’s 11/8 for the Blues to win to nil.

But those looking at the possibility of a major upset will point to the return of Chelsea legend Diidier Drogba to Stamford Bridge in opposition colours.

The Ivorian striker has made a habit of making a mark on the big occasion, despite a low key performance in the first leg.

He bagged 100 goals in 226 top-flight matches with the Blues and is boosted from 7/1 to 9/1 to mark his return with the opening goal, 12/5 to score in 90 minutes and 17/2 to find the net in an away win.

Having gone with Fernando Torres in the shock defeat at Aston Villa on Saturday, Jose Mourinho seems likely to plump for Samuel Eto’o upfront, although the pair are bracketed as 100/30 joint-favourites to score the opening goal.

Eden Hazard is the club’s top scorer with 15 goals this term, although only one has come in this competition. We offer 7/2 that both he and Eto’o are on the scoresheet.

A goalless draw will be enough to see Chelsea through following the away goal by Torres and it’s 1/6 for the Blues to qualify for the last eight.

On the result itself, Chelsea are currently 4/11 and Galatasaray 15/2, with the draw 18/5.
