Entrant lands £250k jackpot after predicting six correct scores

Soccer Saturday Super 6 has its first winner of the season last weekend after all six scores were correctly predicted in the Premier League 3pm kick-offs.

The jackpot was landed as four home sides, Chelsea, Everton, Manchester City and Newcastle, secured victories while Leicester and Sunderland played out a goalless draw and Burnley upset Stoke, winning 2-1 at the Britannia Stadium.

The free-to-play game has now been won four times over the last 14 months, resulting in over £1million pound being paid out since the start of October last year, explaining why it is the UK's most popular football prediction game.

The number crunchers at Sky Bet have calculated that the correct score accumulator was a 413,270/1 chance. The win was all the more unlikely as Burnley's 2-1 was only correctly predicted by 1.42 per cent of entrants.

It proved a profitable afternoon for punters around the country as Sky Bet's Soccer Saturday Price Boost also came in, with the bookmaker having enhanced the odds on all of Chelsea, Everton and Manchester City to win from 2/1 to 4/1.

Soccer Saturday host Jeff Stelling said: "It looks like it's time for me and the Super 6 team to come up with a new business plan as this one isn't exactly proving profitable!

"Hats off to yet another winner, especially calling Burnley to secure their first Premier League away win of the season at Stoke, something none of our experts managed."
